Saturday was the clubs awards night for the 2014-2015 season. It was a successful night celebrating a successful season on and off the pitch. A big thank you to everyone who was involved in making it a great night and for their help through the season. Also a big thank you to Gareth davies for joining us and presenting some trophies also thank you to Brian fowler and chris manroe for their help to the club and for joining us saturday. 

The awards were handed out after everyone had enjoyed a great meal prepared by judi mcandrew. The first award of the night was for top try scorer which was shared by Carwyn Davies and Cerith Evans who both had excellent seasons. Cerith Evans then went on to claim supports player of the year which was well deserved after finishing with over 130 points for the season. The next award was for players player of the year which was claimed by Nathan Peters who had a great season playing in number of positions showing his versatility. Player of the year went to the clubs captain Shon Davies who led by example all year even stepping up to the front row. Most improved went to Dan Brookes who changed his position to prop at the start of the season and held his own and done a fine job all year. The chairmans memorial cup went to Rob Williams for his efforts through the season with the coaching also a great job on the first aid for the players. The last award of the evening was for club man of the year which went to Chris Powell whos contribution to the club has been excellent all year from raising sponsorship to planing evening at the club. 

After the awards had been handed out we then enjoyed live music with the alcohol flowing some enjoying it a bit much with our speedster on the wing mr jordan making bit of a mess. Everyone at the club would also like to thank the chairman Derek Mcandrew for all his hard work that he does for the club through the year everyone in the club appreciates all your hard work. We would also like to thank the sponsers for coming along and we hope that you continue your support of the club. After a great evening we look forward to move on to next season with pre-season already under way. Its a big year for the club as we are celebrating our 125 anniversary preparations are under way for an action packed year. We are always looking for new players ready for an exciting year so if you are interested training is on tuesday and thursdays at 6:45.
